YPD 2009 was held at the Charles Hawker Conference Centre on the Waite Campus, which was generously provided by the University of Adelaide. The conference featured sessions on Molecular Cell Biology, Medically Important Yeasts, Omics & Beyond, Molecular Biology: Signalling, Industrial Yeast, Responses to Environmental Changes, Evolution & Ecology, Molecular Biology: Gene Expression. YPD 2009 included visits to Wirra Wirra and Chapel Hill Wineries, which were hosted by Tim James and Mark Allgrove, respectively.
