YPD 2017 attracted yeast researchers from across Australia and New Zealand. The conference was held at the Mount Helen Campus, which was generously provided by Federation University. The conference featured sessions on Molecular Cell Biology, Yeast in Disease, Evolution, Yeast Biotechnology, Environmental Interactions and Ecology, Gene Expression and Signalling and Systems and Synthetic Biology.
